Bespoke murals are our jam. As mural artists we love designing and making these decorative wall paintings.

Since the dawn of human expression, murals have adorned our surroundings — from the walls of Paleolithic caves to the frescoes of antiquity. At Arteriors, we honor this artform by reimagining it for the present, crafting bespoke wall paintings that support our client’s vision.
Our varied mural techniques include the soft illusion of trompe l’oeil, joyful expressionistic paintings, sweeping sky ceiling murals and ethereal seascapes and panoramic vistas. We are especially captivated by misty, forested landscapes, drawing inspiration from the idealistic paintings of the Hudson River School.

Muralists never stop learning. Each new project is an opportunity to study art history and borrow a visual tool from someone who has gone before us.

Arteriors is especially noted for landscape murals based on Hudson River School Painters of the mid nineteenth century. Their work has inspired and informed our work in terms of sense of color, painterly realism and depth of field. Consequently our sky murals depict the subtle changes in hue from light aqua horizons to deep cobalt blues at the height of the sky. Clouds are multi-layered and will shift from violets to sun-kissed amber and peach tones.
