We Dream in Color
Our tag line says a lot about Arteriors – as artists we dream, design, and play with color and design. Arteriors thrives on our passion for the visual and decorative arts. It drives us to continue to expand and grow by exploring the past, present and future of decorative arts.
Our mission is to further the great tradition of decorative arts by embracing a multitude of styles while developing new and exciting applications for the ever morphing contemporary market. Our company is valued highly for our fluidity between originality and carefully interpreting our client’s vision.
We are also passionate about protecting the health and beauty of our planet and our clients. Arteriors is an industry leader in developing application techniques using water base paints and materials for all of our faux finishes and mural painting. Long before there were water base faux finishing products available on the market, we developed our own green faux finish product: Opentime. Over the past two and a half decades, our services have expanded to provide several environmentally friendly surface finishes, such as American Clay and traditional lime and marble based Venetian plasters.
Arteriors is an artist led company, founded and owned by husband and wife team, Amiel and Stephanie Mesner. Our other team players are artists, tradespeople, and administrators. It is this great combination of talent that provides the creative direction and business infrastructure needed to make us the highly regarded and award winning company that we are.

Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Stephanie has lived her adult life in New England. She met her artistic match and husband, Amiel, at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She is a graduate of the SMFA and earned her BFA at Tufts University. With her finger always on the pulse of interior design, she combines her never-ending quest for visual aesthetics with her knowledge of painting as the Artistic Director for Arteriors. Her love and respect for our planet has been her compass in steering Arteriors towards a green philosophy. Favorite things: her dogs, Pepper and Zoe, renovating old houses, and exploring the possibilities of anything in ruins.
Also a graduate of the SMFA, Ami originally hails from Israel where as a young boy he developed a love of painting. The son of a paint chemist, he has an encyclopedic knowledge of art material science, which is an invaluable contribution to our work.
