This narrative painting series unfolds like fevered dreams, where allegory and history collide in scenes charged with drama and unrest. Against vivid backdrops of fire, rioters surge and presidents pose, while mythic figures on horseback evoke a fractured vision of heroism. Created during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and resonant with the anxieties of our current political moment, these works capture a nation at a crossroads—its democracy challenged, its identity uncertain.
